I'm got this book via NetGalley for a review.
I will just start off by saying that I love this book.
It's about a girl named Cally who is new in town. She's here to find her father but she ended up with an unexpected job, and a hot romance with her quasi employer. Romance with the employer? Doesn't it sound familiarly like Fifty Shades of Gray already?
Let me assure you it is not. The author Maddie Jane writes beautifully. I was able to imagine the places and characters so clearly in my mind through her intricate descriptions. Another reason why it's not another Fifty Shades is because it tells us that there is more life than just work and sex. I won't deny that there isn't sexy scenes in the book. There is but it is a lot toned down compared to Fifty Shades. If Fifty Shades were to be a Nando's Peri-Peri Sauce it would be Extra Hot, on the contrary this book would be Lemon & Herbs. (My love for Nandos is real)
If you're looking for a romance story, this is the book to read.
